Understanding the New Prescriptions Experience

The Prescriptions tab has been redesigned to serve as a complete digital medicine cabinet. Patients can now see all active prescriptions at their pharmacy, whether they were ordered through the app, over the phone, or in person.

This update ensures that the patient’s app always matches the pharmacy’s records. Patients will not see this change if they have not updated their app.

What’s New?

1. Comprehensive Prescription List

The "All Prescriptions" section now imports every active prescription on file for the patient.

  • Unified View: Includes prescriptions that were previously "untagged" or sold directly by the pharmacy.
  • Sorting & Filtering: Patients can sort their list alphabetically or by "Date Modified" (most recent activity).
  • Pharmacy Filter: For patients using multiple pharmacy locations, they can now filter the view to see only medications from a specific site.

2. Smart Action Buttons

The app now shows specific buttons based on the current status of the medication:

  • Checkout Now: For medications ready for payment.
  • Refill Now: For medications eligible for a refill request.
  • Contact Pharmacy: For "Connect" tier pharmacies or specific clinical questions.

3. The "Updates" Section

At the top of the Prescriptions tab, patients will now see a dynamic Updates area. This section highlights the most urgent information so patients don't have to search for it.

  • Rx Received: Confirms the pharmacy has successfully received a new prescription.
  • Ready for Checkout: Alerts the patient that a medication is ready to be paid for and scheduled.
  • Order Status: Live tracking for "Processing," "Ready for Pickup," "Delayed," or "Cancelled."
  • Refill Reminders: Notifies patients when it’s time to request a new supply.
