Easier Access to Patient Receipts
Patients can now quickly find and download their receipts without contacting pharmacy support. Receipts are accessible through multiple touchpoints, making the process faster for patients and reducing support requests for pharmacies.
How Patients Can Access Receipts
1. Immediately After Checkout
- A “View / Download Receipt” button appears on the post-checkout screen.
- Patients can download or view the receipt right away.
2. From the Order Details Page
- Accessible anytime by navigating to:
Orders → Select an order → View Receipt - Receipts are available for up to 2 years for completed or canceled orders.
3. Via Confirmation Emails and SMS
- Order confirmation emails and texts now include a direct link to the receipt or to the Order Details page with a “View Receipt” option.
- Patients log in using their date of birth to access receipts.
Receipt Compliance
All receipts are HSA/FSA-compliant and include required details:
- Pharmacy name
- Patient name
- Date of service
- Itemized medication information
- Proof of payment
This ensures receipts are ready for reimbursement without additional steps.
What This Means for Pharmacies
- Patients can retrieve receipts independently, reducing support requests.
- If a patient asks about a receipt, direct them to:
- Their Order Details page, or
- Their confirmation email or SMS
This simple update makes receipts easier to access, reduces administrative overhead, and improves the patient experience.
