How Do I Use Fax for Refill & Checkout Tasks?

Nimble Fax Overview

To make the Nimble experience even more integrated into your pharmacy’s workflow, we have rolled out Fax Notifications. Each time a refill task or a delivery/pickup order task is generated through Nimble, you will get both a new task on your Nimble Dashboard and a fax sent straight to your pharmacy. This means you’ll never miss a Nimble notification.

How to Use Fax for Checkout

  • When the patient receives a text from Nimble and checks out their order:
    • Nimble will generate a  task and send a fax of the order detail slip
    • Simply staple or attach this slip to the Rx in the pickup or delivery bin so your team knows it’s paid and mark the task as complete within Nimble

How to Use Fax for Refill

  • Once a patient has initiated a refill request using Nimble, a fax will be sent to you
  • Once you’ve confirmed the refill request, an order will be created within Nimble and the checkout process will work as outlined above
