How Do I Know If a Patient Is Subscribed to Nimble SMS Messages?

How to Check If a Patient Is Subscribed, or Opted-In to Nimble SMS Messages/ Texts?

  • Navigate to the Patient Search page.
  • Type in the name or date of birth of the patient and click on their name in the search results to see their profile.

  • In the top right corner of the patient profile, there will be a check box indicating whether the patient should be sent text messages. If this box is unchecked, you can get more information by hovering over the question mark.
  • If the reason is "opted out," this means that either the patient or a pharmacist has indicated that the patient does not want SMS messages.
    • Messages can be re-enabled by re-checking this box, or by the patient updating their preferences in their mobile app.
  • If the reason is "unsubscribed," the patient has replied STOP to a Nimble SMS message, and their carrier will not deliver further Nimble SMS messages to them (regardless of their message preferences).
    • In this case, the patient should text START to 39143 to allow SMS messages to be sent to them.
