Managing Your Dashboard Notifications
We’ve updated the Nimble Pharmacy Dashboard to give you better control over how you stay informed. Whether you are busy filling prescriptions across the room or working in your PMS, our improved notification system ensures you never miss a patient update.
Stay Informed Your Way
You can now manage all your alerts from one central location.
How to Access Your Settings
Log into your Nimble Pharmacy Dashboard.
- Navigate to the Side Navigation Bar.
- You will see a Red Dot next to items with new Chats or new Tasks.
- Hover over Chat or Tasks and select the 3 dots that appear.
- Toggle alerts on or off based on your workflow.
Key Improvements
1. Reliable Desktop Notifications
If you are working in another browser tab or application, Desktop Notifications will pop up to alert you of new chats or tasks.
- Respectful Choices: If you select "Do Not Allow," we will remember your choice. You won’t be prompted again on every visit.
- Self-Test Tool: Not sure if they’re working? Use the "Test Notification" button in your settings to verify your browser setup instantly.
2. Improved Sound Alerts
We’ve overhauled our audio cues to be helpful, not distracting.
- No More "Rapid-Fire": Sounds are now limited to one "ping" per event, preventing loud, repetitive beeping during busy shifts. You will receive a reminder “ping” for unaddressed tasks after 15 minutes.
- Away-from-Desk Support: Keep sound on to hear new incoming tasks while you are assisting patients at the counter or working in the back.
3. Visual Task Indicator
If you miss a sound or desktop alert, a Visual Indicator will remain on your dashboard in the form of a Red Dot next to items with new Chats or new Tasks. This ensures that pending chats and tasks stay visible until they are addressed, so nothing falls through the cracks.
Troubleshooting Tips
If you aren't receiving alerts, check the following:
- Browser Permissions: Ensure your browser (Chrome, Edge, etc.) hasn't blocked notifications for the Nimble site.
- System Volume: Ensure your computer speakers are on and the volume is up if you rely on sound alerts.
- Focus Mode: Check if your computer is in "Do Not Disturb" or "Focus" mode, which can silence all incoming desktop alerts.
