We are introducing a new way to stay connected with your patients after they visit your pharmacy. Order Confirmation for Pharmacy Sold Fills is an automated messaging feature that follows up with patients who pay at your counter.
Previously, digital engagement was mostly for patients who paid online. Now, you can provide that same high-quality digital experience to your "walk-in" patients, giving them a direct line back to your pharmacy even after they leave.
What is this update?
When a prescription is sold at your pharmacy (Pharmacy Sold), Nimble will now automatically send a "Thank You" and confirmation text to the patient.
This message is more than just a receipt—it acts as a digital gateway for the patient to:
- Chat with your staff through 2-way messaging.
- Ask health questions using the Mira AI assistant.
- Complete HIPAA consent digitally if they haven't already.
How it Works (Step-by-Step)
This process is fully automated and requires no extra work from your staff:
Step 1: The In-Store Sale
You complete a prescription sale at your counter as usual. If the fill is tagged for Nimble, our system identifies that the order is complete.
Step 2: Smart Timing
Nimble triggers a confirmation message. To be respectful, we never send messages during "quiet hours" (8:00 PM – 8:00 AM) and limit messages to one per patient, per day.
Step 3: The Patient Receives a Text
The patient receives a friendly SMS: "Hi [Name], thank you for your prescription purchase. Click here to chat with [Pharmacy Name] or use your AI assistant for health related questions."
Step 4: Digital Support
By clicking the link, the patient can instantly reach out to your team with questions or use the built-in AI for medication information.

To keep messaging helpful and not overwhelming, patients only receive this if they need to provide HIPAA consent or are eligible for digital content /ads.
What if the patient paid through the Nimble App?
